The Senior Christmas Outing: for December is a planned luncheon at the Jacob Henry Museum in Joliet, Thursday, December 11. A self-guided tour of the mansion begins at 10:30 with lunch at 11:30. Choices for lunch are Chicken pot pie with warm apple and pear salad or Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a steamed vegetable. Historian, Leslie Goddard will give a presentation, CHRISTMAS ON STATE STREET followed by a self-guided tour of the Old Central Church. Cost: $50 per person. Hope you will join us for a wonderful afternoon. Sign up on the slat wall. When signing up, note your lunch choice and if you would like to ride the bus or carpool. The bus holds 14 people.
