  • SAMS
Single Adult Ministry society was started in the spring of 2003. This group was formed to bring together single adults over the age of thirty. The group was initially set up to be one of fun and fellowship. In a very relaxed setting people have also shared their personal needs and experiences and gained support from one another. Most of the activities have been of a social nature, but we have given support to one another through personal illness, family members illness and even the death of a family member. This has been done through prayer support, cards and visits. Through financial support from Palos CRC and Orland CRC we have been able to keep the cost down for people who might not otherwise have been able to get involved. Both churches have also provided vehicles for us to use, as well as a place to hold our meetings from time to time. The majority of our activities have been going places and not meeting in a building. We have also used our funds to do mailings at times. We usually have 10-15 people per meeting, but have had as many as 25.
