Spring Work Day

                                                7am - 12pm

The Service Committee will again represent Jesus to the elderly, disabled and single parents and on Spring Work Day.  We will have a lot of fun, while it is a great opportunity to build new relationships in this community and our church with this ministry.

We will be doing work day projects such as cleaning out gutters, planting flowers, outside windows, painting a porch, small roofing repairs, perhaps building a ramp for a person with a disability, small electrical and plumbing repairs, etc.  We also need some volunteers to prepare food for the hungry workers as they leave and return.

All projects should be able to be finished in ½ day or less.  Teams will be balanced with skill levels, so don't feel you have to "know a trade" to help.  There will be plenty of work, fellowship and fun.  We will also be able to meet the people we are helping.

If you know of someone in you church or community that could use this help, please forward their name to our coordinators and we will contact them.
