What We Believe
We are a community of people, saved by God’s grace in Jesus Christ, who seek to serve God, each other, and our community. We are a diverse group brought together by shared beliefs:
There is one God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – who reveals Himself in His creation and His Word, the Bible.
The Bible is the Word of God and the only source of what we believe and how we live.
Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is the only way of salvation, and that we are made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ and His work.
God is at work in the world to draw people to Himself, and to make all things new.
We are part of the Reformed Christian tradition. As a church we trace our theological roots back through John Calvin to the earliest church.
PHCRC is a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America, a denomination consisting of over 1000 congregations in the United States and Canada. You can learn more about the Christian Reformed Church at http://www.crcna.org/
